We are pleased that another successful residential project nears completion. 125 apartments have been constructed in 5 distinct blocks as part of the Hampton Wood development for Dwyer Nolan Developments. Block 3, the tallest of the blocks, is 8 stories high over basement and offers spectacular views over North Dublin. The buildings are of precast construction (supplied by Flood Precast) over an insitu basement transfer structure.

The adjacent single storey podium deck over car parking is constructed using structural steel. As an alternative to piled foundations the building is ambitiously supported on a 700mm deep raft slab on the stiff Block boulder Clay modelled by POGA using fine element analysis. At present the podium deck and the balconies are underway with a view to completion in March
