POGA are delighted to confirm the completion and handover in January 2020 of 375 new apartments over six building, at Charlestown Shopping Centre, Finglas, Dublin 11. The new buildings were constructed over an existing double basement carpark, and to be as sustainable as possible utilised the existing basement structure in most circumstances with the need for a small number of new steel columns and concrete pads at these levels.

The structure above podium level consisted of insitu concrete columns up to a reinforced concrete transfer slab at first floor, above this level a precast frame supplied by Oran Precast was used. The buildings were finished in a mixture of stone and insulated render with green roofs and a landscaped podium. This marks the completion of a very successful two year design-build project in collaboration with John Paul Construction, MCORM Architect and Varming M&E Consulting Engineers
